Cooking for the Lady of the house
// June 21st, 2009 // KIT-CHEN
My wife doesn’t know about this blog…so it’s perfectly safe for me to say that I love cooking for her here. It’s something I can’t tell her because she will make me cook for her everyday…that wouldn’t be fun anymore…or would it?
Cooking I believe shouldn’t be a struggle, in most cases. I took the easy way out on this one, but it’s been something that I’ve been wanting for some time anyway: a slow cooker.

I got us a Kenwood Slow Cooker CP707.
With a little careful planning, I would be able to cook while I’m at work, when I’m sleeping and more importantly, while I’m fishing.
So far, I’ve made braised beef with it and it works like a charm. I could think of several things I could use it for aside from just slow cooked beef.
Since she has been raving about White Hainanese Chicken Rice for some time now, I could make it with this. Slow cooking the Chicken in the slow cooker would do wonders!
Anyway, Stay tuned to this section of the blog, I will be sharing some of the recipes that I will be doing with this littel baby!
